Kiddos

Summer is almost over... almost time for Linden to go back to school, but this time he goes all day. He's starting his first day of 1st grade in Mrs. Joseph's class on August 19th. He has played t-ball, soccer & swim team this summer. He has played a little bit of piano with lessons from Gma Beaumont & even months later still has twinkle twinkle little star memorized. With only a week left of swim team, and three weeks till school starts, he is looking forward to moving up to the big boy league of 1st grade. His favorite things are playing the Xbox or PS2 and playing computer games. Recently he likes taking care of a fish tank online by cleaning, feeding & selling his fish.

Dax is 22 months old and speaking very well for his age. He clearly says ice, Patches, mom, dad, and Papa. He will say anything you ask him to & even says prayers with the family by telling him to say the last word of the sentance just spoken, and even before Amen is said as soon as he hears "in the name of" he quickly says Amen and spreads apart his arms fully to show that the prayer is over. He is very obedient and will fold his arms during the entire duration of the prayer. Also, if he ever gets in trouble for hitting (even though he practically only taps) he is told to go to time out & he walks over to the wall and sits down on his own as we count to 20. He is so cute when he hits purposefully because he wants a hug or kiss. He will be sad after hitting & give a hug & kiss if the person being hit pouts their lip. His favorite things are making the sounds for animals and calling out birds if he sees them. He loves to moo now and will make sounds for baa, neigh, & bark or meow. He loves playing with his big brother & calls for him by saying den. He always wants to do what Linden is doing and will grab a game controller & sit right down next to his brother to play along with him (even though his controller has no batteries).
